As I mentioned in my previous post, I am going to have a new faster Internet connection.
My new line has been installed properly and there was no problem with the length and attenuation of the last mile, wich is still copper cable. With the new VDSL+ technologie I'm glad to be able to achieve a far more faster up/down stream. The so called Luxfibre 30 from my Internet Provider is capable to transmit a maximum of 30Mbit/s for the downstream and 10Mbit Upstream. They also offer 50Mbit and 100Mbit, but then you have to be connected by Fibre and category 6 network cables. So 30Mbit will be fine.
Here is the speedtest result of the new Luxfibre30 connection;
As a matter of fact the Grade has raised from C to A :-)
very cool
As the upstream speed also jumped to over 12Mbits I am able now to upload youtube movies with ease.
I think one of my next project will be a Youtube movie of some sort ;-)
So then, see you
bye
